Curious mind

Ccurious mind is essential for human growth , but i think success is most misunderstood word. We lives in a world where every body is only concerned about future , so every actions related to future growth is considered good, but any thing for your present satisfaction is considered waste of time & money. Curiousity lives in that corner of mind which doesn't survive on material foods, it needs new informations as feedings. It is like a greedy man who wants more & more money , who may or may not use his money in his life time but the monetary profits gives him amazing satisfaction.
Thats what i want to say , curious mind gives you amazing satisfaction when you feeds it with new informations, either through books, travelling, meeting new peoples or by experiments. It can be helpful for future growth , but it's motive is present sattisfaction.

What is inner world ?

"Sanyaas" doesn't means to completely ignore your outer self & to be in the market doesn't means to completely ignore your inner self. When a man takes birth, he/she comes as an enlightened person, his mind is completely blank, no thoughts, no connection with the outer world. But suddenly when he takes birth, his outer senses starts to record & feed data to his brain. Brain is like a junktion, a meeting point of outer & inner. Outer world is the world which moves around our senses. But What is Inner world ? Certainly not brain, because brain is what you had observed through your senses in the past, or some new ideas or vision through the mixture of all the observations. Your Inner world also exists in the same chamber of brain. Your consiousness is your inner world, Your "ME" is your inner world. In the process of living & through our senses our brain develops an identity of every individual things including ourselfs, i.e, "ME". This "ME" is the imagination of our brain, but because our outer body exists, the brain confirms the presence of "me" and because brain itself resides in this body of "me", it accepts this 'me' as it's master. Because of this mirage "me" occupies the special space in the brain & creates a sub brain, your inner world, your consiousness, mind , soul, atma. This is the main reason why this "me" disassociates itself from our body. A meditative person thinks that his body will die, but his soul will remain & in the process he will also remain in the other form , etc. Every human body consists of a brain, this brain feels pain, this brain feels pleasure. * A child just after birth can't be called enlightened, though his brain is blank, his mind is thoughtless, but he had not yet developed his "ME" , his identity. Acording to worldly definations when a person ("me") himself wishfully renounces or rejects the worldly desires & controls his mind 7 comes in mental peace, he will be called enlightened. Because a child doesn't wishfully choses this situation, he/she can't be called enlightened. Abhishek Narayan. 17 Dec. 2010

SOCRATES KNOWS NOTHING

I know that I am intelligent, because I know that I know nothing. Socrates

By all means, marry. If you get a good wife, you'll become happy; if you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher. Socrates

Remember that there is nothing stable in human affairs; therefore avoid undue elation in prosperity, or undue depression in adversity.
Socrates

The hour of departure has arrived, and we go our ways--I to die and you to live. Which is the better, only God knows.
Socrates,

OSHO on Suicide

1) To feel that life is utterly meaningless is to be on a crossroads: either you choose suicide or you choose sannyas; either you choose madness or you choose meditation. It is a great turning-point!

2) What are you going to gain out of suicide? Why this constant thinking about it? You will be born into another womb and will again start the same cycle.

3) People commit suicide not because they are really finished with life but because life is not fulfilling their demands. But no life ever fulfills anybody’s demands. You will always go on missing something or other: if you have money, you may not be beautiful; if you are beautiful, you may not be intelligent; if you are intelligent, you may not have money.

4) That’s the point Buddha would like you to reach. Where you start thinking of suicide, only there is sannyas possible — not before it. When you think the whole life is meaningless, only then does your energy start being concentrated on one point — that now some other meaning has to be searched for. “This life has failed, in toto. Now another life has to be searched for. I have lived outside myself and seen it is all sadness and agony. Now I have to turn inwards — a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree turn.”

BUDDHA TALKING

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. Buddha

In the sky, there is no distinction of east and west; people create distinctions out of their own minds and then beleive them to be true. Buddha

It is better to travel well than to arrive. Buddha
Work out your own salvation. Do not depend on others. Buddha
